Happy Pink Saturday My Sweet Blogger Friends!

This Halloween I decided to decorate my sweet little Oklahoma cottage in the traditional holiday colors, so I had to take down all of my beautiful pink and roses down and pack them away. Although I miss them it is fun to have a change and it will be even more exciting when I get to bring all that stuff back out again for Christmas!
I decided to completely clear the room except the furniture and use black, white, and orange as my pallette. I think the rooms are really lovely.

I bought some different kinds of black and white fabric to make table covers and slips for my pillows so everything is accessorized for the theme!

I love how clean and polished everything looks. It's really amazing to think about how a room can be transformed depending on the dressing!

I had a lot of fun transforming my home into a posh Halloween cottage.

I know you've heard me say before that my mantle is always my favorite thing to decorate. This time was no exception. I think it turned out really cute!

I bought these candy corns from a catalog and added glitter so they would glisten.

I love this sweet lady crow with the Halloween hat on her head. I bought these books at a book sale for super cheat just because they were the perfect Halloween colors. I love this little vignette. This table turned out so cute!

Last year I bought these wooden letters and covered them with Halloween scrapbooking paper and embellishments. They are the perfect "sweet" accent for this shelf above my television.

Here is my lovely mannequin that I need to come up with a name for (if you have any suggestions, please leave me a comment) and she is all decked out for the Halloween season. I have so much fun dressing her up like a giant Barbie doll, which was my favorite toy as a child.

The kitchen didn't get a while lot of decorations this year because I ran out, if you can believe that, (now that's scary!!!) but I did decorate the dining area for the season.

My centerpiece is a real pumpkin in a footed bowl and some candlesticks I glittered (of course). So cute!

My china hutch in the dining room is also a favorite to decorate. It always looks just like a little gift shop for each season. I love how it turned out.

The center shelf is my attempt to honor our favorite Disney princess. So many little girls dress up like her on Halloween and hope to grow up to be her one day. Who doesn't love the . . .

Bibbity - Bobbity - Boo!?

I hope you enjoyed my cozy Halloween cottage and I hope I have inspired you in some way. Please leave me a comment if you enjoyed it. There are more Halloween pictures to see so please come back!
Blessings to you!
Love Tammy

  1. Happy Halloween Tammy Sweetie...
Oh my what a beautiful wonderland you turned your cottage into. I love every little corner of black white and orange. So beautiful. The pattern you chose for the pillows, the end table and coffee table are so beautiful. They look gorgeous whether it be Halloween or not. Just beautiful and does that boa ever pop on your china cabinet. It is so exquisite. Just the right touch.

And then to look around and see Missy standing there so beautiful in her hat, dress and little jacket. She is spectacular in that corner. I still search for a mannequin for my house. I love it, and she is dressed just right for the occasion.

I love the letters SWEET and the candy corn just looks spectacular. So holiday(ish). I love it and thank you for opening your home for me today.

I have to agree with you, the mantel is my favorite of all. The pumpkins, candleabras and the little dark shaded light are just the right touch.

What a beautiful little cottage there in Oklahoma. I was so hoping to be home for the holidays this year in Enid, but that is not going to happen this year. I love this time of year, the trees sure put on a beautiful show, and it makes everything so magical. Happy Halloween sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  2. OK Girly! I know for sure you are A LOT younger than me because if I attempted to clear out all my pink it would surely land my little bohunk in bed for a least a week. Noooo nooo nooo! This pink lovin' girly girl doesn't have the energy you obviously have!

    Now...that said~

LOVE THE TRANSFORMATION! Want to come do my house now? Don't live that far away...you know???

    Love to you~

  3. Even though I have seen it in person, it is even prettier in pictures because I can set here and study every single piece. Wonderful job, can't wait to see the fall display.

  5. You are so talented and patient. I can't imagine moving, removing and adding for the season but I wish I had the stamina to do it! I need to ask...WHERE do you put all of this? I barely have room paper towels and a can of peas, let alone all the decorations you have coming and going! LOL
Lovely post as usual...hope to see you posting more!
    Happy PS
