My Living Room in Fall Whites

Hello Friends,

Today I wanted to share some pictures of the pretty decorating in my living room I did for fall. I used ivory, white, and brown for my color palette. Isn't this angel lovely? I made the pumpkins at her feet and showed those to you last weekend.

I love this shelf above my giant television set. It is really pretty this fall with the ivory and white. The "dream" figural was gold when I got it and I painted it white then sanded it to make it look more vintage.

I love these plates and had to use them somewhere in my decorating since I didn't use them on my table this year. They were made in jolly ole' England. This has become one of my favorite shelves to decorate and I think the height of that beautiful blown glass tree is perfect on this tall shutter shelf. The sweet turkey teacup is hiding a bit behind some flowers. I wish you could see it better. I think I might have a cup of tea in that thing tonight!

My fireplace mantle is gorgeous again for this season. I love how it all came together. I never really know how things are going to turn out until I do it. I just let my creative spirit take over and don't really put much brain thought in to my decorating. I am always amazed at how lovely everything turns out!

I think my favorite thing on my mantle right now is the tall ivory pumpkin. It is a tea light holder and it is so pretty at night when it is aglow.

Here is a close up of it! I love this picture!

Here is my mannequin, Miss Molly, all dressed up for fall. Her dress is ivory with silver sequins and she has a pearl necklace, a beautiful ivory lace scarf, and a gorgeous ivory hat. She looks very elegant, doesn't she?! She is like my life-size Barbie doll and I love to dress her up!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and a blessed Thanksgiving holiday! I have been super busy making all kinds of beautiful Christmas creations that I can't wait to share with you. Please come back and check them out soon!

Blessings to you!

Love Tammy

Pretty Fall Pumpkins

Hello Friends!

I have been busy crafting and decorating for fall and I wanted to show you some of the fruits of my labor!
I covered 4 small foam pumpkins with old book paper and then distressed them. I added some ribbon, lace, tulle, and other embellishments to dress them up!

Aren't they pretty? I love how vintage and old fashioned they look. They are decorating my dining room table right now but I might move them to a more prominent place later.

Here are a few more pumpkins I made last weekend. They are fashioned from fabric and embellishments. This one above was actually cut from a tablecloth!!! They make great fabric for crafting!

It's hard to believe this beautiful little pumpkin used to be a tablecloth! This pumpkin looks like she's dressed for a wedding in all white and ivory. I love how it turned out!

This little pumpkin is made out of ivory velvet fabric. Isn't the rhinestone embellishment gorgeous!?

This is my dining room all decorated for the fall. I decided to go light this year. Last year I used browns, oranges, golds . . . the traditional fall colors. This year I wanted a fresh, different look so I decorated with ivory, white, and brown. I really love how the light colors really brightens the room . . . and my mood!

This is my glorious table scape. I was inspired by Rebecca and got busy creating my own version of a romantic fall table scape in all ivory and white. I am so delighted at how it turned out!! I can't wait to have a tea party and a romantic dinner here! James and I have decided to eat our spaghetti on TV trays in the living room, however, since marinara sauce could be very dangerous if eaten at this table!

I am so in love with ivory lace right now. I just can't get enough! Every time I see it anywhere I have to buy it, no matter what it is. I think I may need help!

See the sweet vintage pumpkins I created on the table? I don't know if I should move them or not? What do you think?

Here is the place setting. I spray painted some gold chargers white. They haven't held up very well. The paint didn't stick so well so I need to figure out what I need to do to fix that. I used my Pope Gosser Rose Point china this time. The white silk napkin is tied with tan silk ribbon and I added a wedding flower to embellish it up a bit. So feminine and romantic!!!

Here is my china hutch filled with more Rose Point dishes. It isn't too fussy this time. I didn't really know what else I could put in it other than some ivory pumpkins and some pine cones. Do you have any suggestions?

I found this beautiful thing at my favorite store in Guthrie called Rosa Bella. I buy something every time I go in. This and a few other treasures I will be showing you later are what I came out with this past trip. I am going to add more rhinestone embellishment to this to really make it sparkle. You will probably see it again with pink ribbon on it for Christmas!

I know it is a bit late and we are all over Halloween now but I couldn't resist showing you the pictures of our Halloween pumpkins for this year. They turned out so cute!

I think you all know that I am in love with one of the sweetest men alive. James is so kind, loving, and thoughtful. I love how we have so much fun together and that I can be myself with him. He is so giving and generous and he is always doing sweet things for me. I feel so blessed to have this wonderful man to share my life with.

Our pumpkins were pretty spooky on the front porch in the dark! It was too bad they only lasted about a week. But we had so much fun creating them and go to enjoy them for a while! At least we will have the memories forever!

I haven't taken pictures of the fall living room yet because the lighting hasn't been right, but they are coming. The living room is so pretty decorated in ivory, white, and brown. I am so excited for you to see!!! Hopefully I can post those pictures next weekend!

I hope you have a blessed weekend! Please leave me a comment, I love to hear from you all!

Blessings to you!
Love Tammy
