Hello Blogger Friends!
I wanted to share the pictures of my Father's Day Brunch I had for James last Sunday. I decorated the barn with a nautical theme this time because James was in the Navy and he loves boats and the water. I know he is itching to get his sailboat in the water as soon as we can.
I made that floatation device and those flags to hang on the wall to decorate things up. I think they turned out pretty cute!
James really loved the decorations and all the hard work I put in to making his celebration special. I love that about him . . . that he appreciates me and loves me for who I am!
I made orange cranberry muffins for James and made these sailboat cupcake picks to stick in them. When he saw this display he thought it was so awesome and he said it looked like a sailboat regatta. I am glad he liked it!
I also made orange infused french toast with mixed berry compote, sausage patties, and individual crustless vegetable and parmesan quiches for brunch. Everything tasted so good!
I love this tablescape and think it turned out so great! I love the red, white, and blue!
I made each person a place card holder from a recycled soda bottle that I glued rope around the neck of and made a medallion out of clay that I imprinted with a seashell and then glued letters to spell each name from newspaper clippings. I modpodged the whole thing and then poked a hole in the top. After everything dried out I tied the medallion on to the neck of the bottle, filled each bottle with candy, and stuck a cork in the top. They turned out so great and everyone loved them!
Don't you just hate it when you get a blurry picture but it is the only one you have!? Here is James with Maggie and Lucie. Maggie is 11-years-old and Lucie is 8. They are growing up so quickly, especially Maggie. She is turning in to a lovely young lady!
We had a nice brunch together and then James opened some gifts from his girls. I know he appreciated everything. He is a really wonderful man and I am so blessed to know him and be loved by him. I am looking forward to having children with him. He is a wonderful father to his children and a dear blessing to me.
I hope you each had a wonderful Father's Day and were able to celebrate it in some way. Thank you for stopping by today. Please leave a comment to let me know how you are doing! Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings to You!
Love Tammy
