Happy Pink Saturday! I want to thank Beverly for hosting another Pink Saturday for all of us pink lovin' ladies! Please visit her blog at
www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com and check out all the other Pink Saturday posts! I took the blue and green spring bird decorations down and packed them away. Although they were pretty and still soft and pastel, I was so excited to bring some PINK back in to my life! I have several sweet Easter pinks to show you but first I wanted to share that wonderful Coconut Bird Nest recipe with you that I made for my spring tea!

You take 2 egg whites and 2 1/4 cups of coconut and mix them together in a bowl. Measure the mixture out by tablespoons full (I used a 1/4 cup measuring cup because I found that easier for me) and form into nests. Place them on a baking sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 16-20 minutes. Let the nests cool completely and place candy eggs in the center. The recipe only makes about 5 or 6 nests so if you are feeding a crowd you may want to double or triple the recipe. I hope you enjoy them!

So I have been working hard to decorate for Easter and I decided to use a TON of pink this year. Things are sure looking pretty in my little cottage and I can't wait to share everything with you! Above you will see Miss Molly in a beautiful dress that was given to me by a sweet lady at my church that knows I love Victorian, frilly, pink things. She wanted me to have it because she knew I would love it. She is right!

Here are some Easter egg pillows I made last year from felt and embellishments. The pink one is my favorite!

Rebecca,
www.rebecca-gatheryeroses.blogspot.com, painted this beautiful rabbit and I bought it when she had an antique booth in Oklahoma City. I sure miss that place! I made that sweet bucket next to the bunny. It was just a plain old metal bucket and with some love . . .

it turned out to be one of the sweetest Easter decorations I have. It is much prettier in person!

This fellow here is Chester. I bought him at Cracker Barrel one day and James and I named him Chester. I tied some PINK ribbon around his neck. It matches his fluffy tail that you can't see. It is totally pink! I think he is so cute!

Isn't this rose detail lovely? I added it to my sweet pink bird house yesterday to dress it up a bit!

Now I have to get better at painting roses and I will paint some on her and she will be perfect!

This is a plain pink jar I bought and added all the pretty ribbon, roses, and other embellishments to decorate it up. Aren't the bunnies so cute! I can't help but smile and laugh when I see them!

Here is a sweet Easter egg I made from felt and embellishments a few years ago. I think I will make some more of those to place around for Easter this year! They sure are sweet!

This is a small wreath I made last year to tie on the back of each one of my kitchen chairs. I love the sweet pastel colors. I hand-painted and speckled each one of the eggs. James helped me dismantle them because they are getting a makeover. They don't really match with the decor in the kitchen this year and I want them to be more PINK. I can't wait to show you the transformation!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Pink Saturday! Please leave me a comment so I know you were here and I will visit your blog in return!
Blessings to you!
Love Tammy
